Brussels, 13 February 2018 – L’Etoile Properties concludes a 99 years private long term leasehold for the Egmont I and II, two offices building located in the heart of Brussels’ CBD, on behalf of an Asian investor. The notarized deed will be sign by the end of March.
The two buildings taken into a long term lease from Cofinimmo and representing a total of approx. 70,000 sqm and 429 parking places, are located in the Sablon, one of the most prestigious location in Brussels CBD, at the center of a triangle formed by the central station, the royal palace and the courthouse.
The property is fully let to the real estate agency of the Belgium federal state (Régie des Bâtiments), and fully occupied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign trade and development cooperation, for a remaining period over 13 years.

L’Etoile Properties acted as investment, structuring and financing advisor, Loyens&Loeff advised on the legal and tax aspects, Drees&Sommer on the technical aspects and Whitewood for commercial assistance. L’Etoile Properties will also act as Fund and Asset Manager of Egmont I & II.
