Amsterdam, 21 December 2017 – Several Funds managed by Amundi Real Estate have recently purchased the NOW Building in Hoofdorp from Aberdeen Standard Investments. L’Etoile Properties advised Amundi on the acquisition and will manage the building post-closing. The NOW Building is located at the Taurusavenue at Beukenhorst-Zuid in Hoofdorp and was completed in May 2017.
The NOW Building was developed by Park 20 | 20 CV and designed by William McDonough, together with N30 Architects. Like the rest of the buildings composing the Park 20 | 20, NOW building has been developed according to the Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) philosophy, which main principle is, from conception to utilization: 0 pollution, 100% recycled.
The multi-tenant building has a lettable floor area of approximately 6,134 m2. The building consists of 4 office floors above the ground floor. The parking garage with space for 136 cars is located under the building and also offers space for storing motorbikes and bicycles. The building has been leased on a long-term basis to Macaw Nederland B.V., Sony Benelux, Delta Development Group and SwissRE.
The buyer has been legally advised by Houthoff Buruma, technically advised by CBRE and commercially by L’Etoile Properties.
