Amsterdam, 8 January 2021 – L’Etoile Properties advises Credit Suisse Asset Management Global Real Estate on the acquisition of a newly developed logistics asset in Bleiswijk from Somerset Capital Partners. Buyer Credit Suisse already worked together with Somerset during the development of the project. The property is leased for a long term and occupied by Jumbo Supermarkten.
The e-fulfilment center is located on a business park in Bleiswijk, a location in between the Port of Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport. The building is equipped with freezing-, cooling- and environmental compartments and is classified with BREEAM “Outstanding”, the highest standard of sustainability.
Somerset Capital Partners asked ASK Romein Bouw in September 2019 to expedite the delivery of the e-fulfilment center to December 2020 and to take on the design responsibility of construction.
In addition, Gerwin Sint Nicolaas Head of Acquisitions Benelux at L’Etoile Properties adds “We congratulate Credit Suisse with this solid logistic acquisition, which fits current trends such as e-commerce in the food sector. Furthermore, L’Etoile Properties was able to show their ability to find the right product in the current tight logistic market and was able to advise Credit Suisse from a commercial perspective”
Credit Suisse Asset Management Global Real Estate was advised by L’Etoile Properties (commercial), Houthoff (legal) and BBN (technical). The advisors of Somerset Capital Partners were Solid Attorneys and Loyens & Loeff.
