Paris, 10 July 2019 – A foreign investor made the sale-and-lease-back purchase of the building at 21 rue de Berri, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, from SIA Partners.
21 Rue de Berri has 3,600 m² on 8 floors and three basements. It was designed in 1930 by architect F. Leroy and J. Cury for the Paris office of the International Herald Tribune in the form of an “H”.
After a renovation in 2011, the building was used by the Georges Rech – Apostrophe brand before being taken over by SIA Partners. In 2018-2019, the building was restructured and expanded to accommodate the headquarters of SIA Partners.
As part of the renovation, the building was equipped with a roof terrace, several cascade terraces on the upper floors, a fitness area and a wellness spa with sauna, hammam and jacuzzi in the basement.
The seller, SIA Partners, represented by Nottaires Marais Bastille, remains the sole tenant of the property.
The buyer was advised by Balzac REIM, L’Etoile Properties, DixSept68 Notaries and Mayer Brown Law Firm.
