PERIAL Asset Management pursues its diversification strategy through the acquisition of the Mouterij de Goudsbloem in Schiedam on behalf of its SCPI PF Hospitalité Europe investment fund.
L’Etoile Properties, on behalf of Perial Asset Management, has acquired Mouterij de Goudsbloem located Noordvest 61-63, in the historic city centre of Schiedam. The property built in c. 1800, has been fully transformed in 2018, and endowed with 34 studios. It was the last remaining gin maltery which is still in its original condition. The monumental characteristics of the maltery (a.o. wooden trusses, drying oven, façade) were preserved during an extensive renovation in 2018.
The asset concerns a national monument leased to Stichting Veste with 34 independent studios. The foundation is specialized in managing and renting out living spaces for target groups with special needs. Different forms of living apply, from fully independent to assisted living. Stichting Veste has rented out more than 600 units in a total of 18 cities since 2020, of which 34 in the Goudsbloem. The building offers a total of 1,300 square meters GFA, and is equipped with a bicycle shed on site.
Perial was advised by L’Etoile Properties, Greenberg Traurig and Drees & Sommer during this transaction. The seller Hermon Heritage was advised by CBRE, City Legal and MAES notarissen. L’Etoile Properties will manage the property on behalf of Perial AM.
