Amsterdam, 17 December 2019 – L’Etoile Properties has completed its first acquisition for an internal fund, the currently vacant office building in Hoofddorp has been purchased. The building is located at Capellalaan 21-37 in Hoofddorp.
The office building was built in 1992 and consists of approximately 2,600 sqm of office space spread over 5 floors, the office is currently completely vacant. The former home of Knab Bank, will be renovated into a modern and sustainable office building.
The building is located in Beukenhorst-Oost, approximately 6 minutes’ walk from Hoofddorp station, and is the sixth building that L’Etoile Properties has acquired in the area. Due to the good accessibility and central location close to Schiphol, many renowned (inter)national companies are located in the area such as Sony, Sanoma Uitgevers, Rabobank, L’Oreal and Walt Disney. Schiphol and Amsterdam can be reached within a few minutes by both car and public transport.
With the purchase of the office building in Hoofddorp, the fund has taken its first step towards realizing a diversified real estate portfolio. It is the ambition of the private fund to realize a real estate portfolio from small to medium-sized office, retail and logistics properties.
L’Etoile Properties which will be responsible for the renovation itself, has been assisted by VanGoud Advocaten as legal/tax advisor and Melssen bouwadvies B.V. as technical advisor. The seller is accompanied by TREC Amsterdam during this transaction.
