Wolf and Hecklau appointed to Managing Directors

L’Etoile Properties Germany strengthens its management team by appointing Timo Wolf and Oliver Hecklau as its Managing Directors.
Timo Wolf studied Civil and Industrial Engineering, and joined L’Etoile Properties as Head of German Operations in September 2020. Previously, he held executive positions at Lloyd Fonds AG, TAG Immobilien AG and Polares Real Estate Asset Management GmbH. Timo brings extensive experience in fund and asset management, as well as in building and managing companies.
“Timo Wolf rapidly became an essential part of our team due to his strong commitment. It was therefore a natural progression to appoint him to the management team,” said Richard Apfelbacher, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of L’Etoile Properties. “Oliver Hecklau has earned the recognition of clients, partners, and the staff of L’Etoile Properties through his strong expertise and leadership skills. We are very happy to have him on board,” adds Richard (Apfelbacher).
Oliver Hecklau holds a degree in Industrial Engineering. He joined L’Etoile Properties’ investment team in 2017, and was appointed Head of Acquisitions in 2018. Oliver Hecklau began his real estate career as an analyst at the Goldman Sachs’ subsidiary Archon Group in Real Estate Sales & Acquisitions. Before joining L’Etoile Properties, he was also active in the M&A department of ECE Projektmanagement.
Together, Timo Wolf and Oliver Hecklau will focus on the continued expansion of L’Etoile Properties in Germany, as well as on the development and optimisation of L’Etoile Properties’ asset management services. Timo will work on the operational side, while Oliver will continue to focus on the investment activities of the company.
They will be supported by Petra Rössler in her position as Head of Asset Management, and Andreas Schmergal in his position as Head of Property Management.
